About This Event
Join Jason Thompson at Cedar Point Environmental Park to learn about Florida’s ecosystem evolution and the necessity of fire in that context. Participants will be able to discuss the benefits of fire across the landscape, different firing techniques, types of fire and how to mitigate potential risks of prescribed burning.
